Anthony Goodman is a Senior Client Partner and Head of Board Effectiveness Practice. He advises public and private company boards, especially in ESG and stakeholder relations. He has six years of experience at Russell Reynolds Associates and over a decade at Tapestry Networks, where he co-founded the Shareholder-Director Exchange. He was CEO of Smythe Dorward Lambert, has contributed to corporate governance literature, and served on the board of Boston Scores.
He was Co-Chair of The Conference Board ESG Center Human Capital Oversight & Disclosure Working Group in 2019-20, and co-authored chapters in the first three editions of The Handbook of Board Governance (Wiley) covering board-shareholder engagement in 2016, board leadership in 2020, and board evaluation, forthcoming in 2023.
He holds an MA from Oxford University and is a member of NACD and ICGN.
