Andreas von Specht founded AvS Advisors in 2011 and advises family businesses and family offices globally on entrepreneur and CEO succession, board appointments/reviews, next-generation projects, mission statements and family charters. He spent 17 years as an Egon Zehnder partner, joined the German management team, and led the Frankfurt office and, from Paris, the European and Global Consumer & Retail Practice, focusing on succession and governance.
He began his career at Mars Snackfood, Bacardi and Van Houten in marketing, sales and management. He is a shareholder and board member of several companies and has represented his extended family on Berenberg Bank’s Board for over 25 years. He holds a Business Administration degree from the European Business School network in Germany, the UK and France.
