Bruno Salzano is a partner in the Global Energy practice at Tauil & Chequer Advogados, in association with the global law firm Mayer Brown. He has been working in M&A since 2004 and holds a postgraduate degree in business administration from FGV-CEAG, a specialization in electric energy from ABCE, and an LLM from King’s College in London.
Bruno has led some of the most significant transactions in the energy sector, including the privatization of Eletrobras and Copel, the sale of Eletrobras’ thermal power plant portfolio to the J&F group, and Engie’s acquisition of Atlas’ renewable energy portfolio (previously owned by the US fund GIP and now part of BlackRock).
