Carlos Portugal Gouvêa

Professor of Commercial Law at the University of São Paulo (USP) and founding partner of PGLaw. D. in Law from Harvard University (S.J.D., 2008). He is a vice-president member of the Capital Markets and Corporate Governance Committee of OAB-SP and a board member of the Fulbright Commission of Brazil. He was a member of the National Financial System Appeals Council. In the past, he has been a visiting researcher at Yale Law School and Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is accredited by the Brazilian Bar Association and the New York State Courts.
