David Acharya is the Managing Partner at ACP, where he oversees the firm’s investment, management, and strategic activities. With over 25 years of experience in investing and transactions, he is a recognized expert in private equity, capital markets, and portfolio value creation. Acharya frequently speaks at industry events and is well-respected by his peers.
He has served on the board of directors for Impact XM and On Location, two portfolio companies he managed and successfully sold to a global private equity firm. In 2020, after serving as President of the New York Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Acharya was elected Chairperson and joined the ACG Global Board of Directors. For his leadership and volunteer work, he received the ACG Meritorious Award.
Acharya is an alumnus of St. John’s University, holding both B.S. and M.B.A. degrees with honors.
