Fernando Vita

Fernando Vita is Executive Director, Investment Banking of UBS Brazil , where he has been for 10 years. Before joining UBS in 2009, Fernando worked for 10 years at J.P. Morgan and its affiliates. With more than 20 years of investment banking experience, he has deep expertise in a variety of areas such as complex M&A, private equity, equity and debt capital markets, structured finance, liability management as well as research. He assists clients in complex transactions currently focusing on the Consumer Products & Retail and Healthcare sectors. Fernando has a Bachelor’s degree from Fundação Armando Alvarez Penteado – FAAP where he graduated in 2000. Recently, Fernando has advised Natura&Co in its landmark acquisition of Avon Products International, creating the second largest pure-beauty player globally. With a global experience he has executed various transactions in Brazil and abroad, such as, at the time, the largest LatAm FIG IPO of Santander Mexico, the $19bn restructuring of all of Iraq’s commercial debt, the development of the first Brazilian ETF (PIBB) among others.
