Mark is a Managing Director at Discount Capital and heads the firm’s Investment Banking Division. In this role, Mark oversees the corporate finance advisory business and established a partnership with Lincoln International (a global mid-market investment bank), where together the focus is predominantly on M&A opportunities for Israeli companies.
Mark has over two decades of investment banking and investment management experience, including having worked at Morgan Stanley, Citi, and Scotia Capital. Mark also ran a private investment company focused on VC investments in consumer-tech companies. Mark holds an MBA and an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Originally from Canada, Mark moved to Israel in 1999 to serve in the army with the intention of returning to Canada however fell in love with the country and stayed in Israel to pursue his professional career. He is married with three kids and lives in Petach Tikvah.
