Hello,

Welcome to this week’s Teaser Energy Europe, a curated roundup of M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments powering Europe’s energy transition.

BESS wasn’t the busiest lane, but it stayed front and centre: FlexGen’s Powin assets take it to 25 GWh across 200 projects; ElectroRoute’s partnership with Arenko marks an entry into UK storage.

The UK led with eight deals: Bluefield sold 250 MW of solar and storage to Lyceum/GLIL, and Greenvolt Next–Tesco will roll out 5 MW of rooftop PV. Elsewhere, GIP is to buy half of Eni’s CCUS arm, Romania’s Hidroelectrica eyes 520 MW of wind/solar, EDF weighs a EUR 2 bn stake sale, and KKR readies a EUR 9 bn Viridor exit.
