Partner in the Tourism Area of Explorer Investments in Portugal. Joined Explorer Investments in 2012, being responsible for acquisitions in Discovery Fund, leading the valuation, due diligence and acquisition of over 30 deals worth over 650M€. Since 2018 he leads the Investment Advisory Committee of Discovery, being member of the Board of Directors of the operational companies.
In 2017 he was part of the team that founded Explorer Real Estate Fund being involved in the acquisition of the seed portfolio and is currently part of the Board of Directors of the Portfolio companies and of the Investment Advisory Committee.
From 2005 to 2012 he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., having developed and led several strategy, corporate finance and operational change projects in Portugal, Africa and Latin America. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School, USA (2009) and Economics degree from Faculdade Economia Porto, Portugal (2005).
