Despite Covid-19, China ranked #1 in Outward Direct Investment (ODI) in 2021, investing more than USD 150 billion overseas; and Latin America has been no exception to this interesting trend, since the two regions have consolidated as strategic investment and trade partners. However, we usually do not address how the Chinese market has become an attractive destination for “Latinas” in their internationalization efforts in varied industries like banking & finance, mining, retail, wine, agribusiness, fisheries, professional services, and even technology.
