About

Dr Filipe Morais worked for 12 years in American and German multinational firms in the automotive and semiconductor sectors, before moving to academia.
In academia, Filipe examines governance and strategic leadership under conditions of uncertainty, such as during turnarounds, strategic transformations, systemic
crises, and reputational controversies.
Filipe is a faculty member at Henley Business School and Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics, and was a faculty at INSEAD’s Advanced Board Programme.
Filipe works as an independent advisor to private, public and family-owned firms, and collaborates as an independent partner in board advisory with the global search firm AMROP. His recent work explores how AI is reshaping firms and governance.
He is a member of the AI Working Group for Company Secretaries and Governance in London, comprising FTSE 100 firms, audit firms, and professional bodies and chairs its Workstream A on AI use cases and impact.
