Emil Xie

Emil Xie has more than 15 years of experience in global transactions and extensive experience with leading Asian PE firms. He is the investment director at Legend Capital, with a focus on investments and post-deal management in the advanced manufacturing sector, including industrial software, automation, semiconductor, AI, etc. He also focuses on special investment opportunities in the sector, such as privatization, carve-out, and MBO. For example, he led the investment in Hoteam Software, one of the leading 3D CAD and PLM solution providers in China. Before joining Legend Capital, Emil Xie was the core member of AGIC Capital. He closed two buy-out transactions of European automation targets. The transactions’ value totaled US$1.5 billion and was widely reported by FT, Wall Street Journals, Huanqiu, etc. After the investments, he also performed active post-deal management and helped the fund achieve rich exit returns. Mr. Xie holds a finance MBA degree in CEIBS. He is CFA Charterholder.
