Jamal Abisourour

Jamal is a Vice President for Investments in Innovation, leading pipeline development and deal structuring in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also leading the efforts for the launch of SEAF’s first global impact fund focused on Forcibly Displaced Populations in developing markets.  He is a seasoned PE impact investor with seven years of transactional experience at SEAF. Also, he was previously acting as SEAF’s VP of Impact Investing. Prior to SEAF, Jamal worked at HSBC Alternative Investments and at a boutique Private Equity firm in Singapore where he was involved for 4 years in mid-market PE transactions in Asia Pacific and MENA. After that, he spent 4 years as a Business Development Director at a Global Maghreb-based payment solutions company. Jamal has lived, worked and studied in more than 30 countries and speaks five languages. He has an MBA from the Hult International Business School and a Double Degree Masters in International Finance from the University of Groningen and a Masters in International Business and Economics from the  University of Uppsala.
