Pedro is a Senior Manager at Deloitte and leads the TMT Industry and Restructuring practice within the Financial Advisory department.
He joined Deloitte in 2007 and has accumulated extensive transaction experience. He has also been involved in various projects including business planning, business valuation, restructuring services (turnaround) and M&A/due diligence, both domestically and overseas.
Pedro has provided advice and support to both domestic and multinational clients, including corporate clients, private equity/venture capital firms, banks, insolvency practitioners and public entities. His experience includes managing projects in a wide range of industries including technology, media and telecommunications, as well as tourism, construction, manufacturing and healthcare.
He worked in the Portuguese Government for two years, when Portugal implemented the economic adjustment program agreed with the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and the European Commission, and represented the Portuguese Government in the renegotiation of a Public-Private Partnership.
Pedro was also an undergraduate teaching assistant at University of Minho (UM) early in his career and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Economics and Management Undergraduate Degrees of the same university. He’s also a member of the Executive Committee of the Portuguese INSEAD Alumni Association.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD (Singapore and France) and a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of Minho, with distinction, and has attended the Advanced Negotiation Program from Nova School of Business and Economics.
